Snow Days...

...mean baking!

homemade potato garlic bread

We got about 8 or 10 inches of snow Monday topped with some ice Monday evening, so I've been stuck  at home, working on various knitting projects and baking (the bread was so good, in case you were wondering). I realized I've got no less than 5 knitting projects going on right now, and all I can think about is what I want to cast on next. I'm pretty sure I have a problem. I'm all finished with my oatmeal pullover - it's blocking now. 2 of my projects are the majority of the way finished, and the other 2 are just beginning. Goodness. I need to get some of these projects off the needles, because there are other things I want to make. But.... I can't decide which one. Should I start these awesome socks in some of Springtree Road's yummy new sock yarn (i have the framboise colorway - so beautiful!)? Or should I start the fiddlehead mittens I've been wanting to make forever? Help!

  1. That's tough, but I think I'd go with the mittens

  3. Oh, knit the fiddlehead mittens! They are so beautiful! And easy! And so so impressive looking! I wore mine until there was a hole in the thumb!

  4. That bread looks FANTASTIC! I'm pretty envious of your snow day. It snowed in Chicago, but not enough to get me out of work. I say, cast off one, cast on two.... that's probably no help. But, they're both small projects and will go quickly!
