The past two months I have given away something handmade by me. But this month, I'm not giving something away that's handmade at all! In fact, this will only appeal to my fellow knitters, I'm sure.
Recently, I've come across two copies of The Natural Knitter, by Barbara Albright. So, if you can put two and two together....that means that one copy is the giveaway prize!
This book is great. Not only does it have some cute patterns, but it talks about all different types of natural fibers, how to use them, and the differences between them all. I'm so excited to send a copy to a new home!
Here's how to enter:
1. leave a comment below telling me your favorite fiber to knit with or your favorite knitting book
2. become a follower and make sure you leave a second comment telling me you did! (or already are!)
3. tweet, blog, or facebook about this and leave me the link - one entry for each
so, up to 5 entries per person! giveaway ends sometime Sunday afternoon (4/3), so pass the word, and good luck!
How fun!
ReplyDeleteI'm a relatively new knitter, but I have to say that I'm currently in love with merino. A lot of that love comes from the fact that many wools are irritating to my skin, but merino is not. Plus it's just so deliciously soft.

Ooh what a great giveaway! I really love knitting with alpaca (surprise, surprise right?) I love how soft it is, how durable, how versatile and how brilliant the colors can be :D

I love the feel of cotton. I make lots of dishcloths because I love the texture of the yarn. I've even made a halter top in sport weight cotton, just so I could use cotton yarn! I'd love to make more clothing & other items out of cotton yarn or cotton blends.
