So, I know this is a day late. But I was a little torn. I mean, only 6 people entered the giveaway. That's not too many. And deep down, I felt bad only picking 3 out of those 6 to win the pattern. So, being the tender-hearted soul that I am, I've decided to give all 6 ladies who entered my giveaway a PDF copy of The Portland Cowl!

On another note, we finally had some rain here yesterday. It wasn't much, but it was hard and it was a nice, small break from the terrible heat we've been having here.

Today, Jake and I walked around the Georgia Botanical Gardens, and it was so nice to finally see that Spring is here! The bees were buzzing happily, the flowers were blooming beautifully, and birds were chirping in wonderful harmony.

The past two months I have given away something handmade by me. But this month, I'm not giving something away that's handmade at all! In fact, this will only appeal to my fellow knitters, I'm sure.

Recently, I've come across two copies of The Natural Knitter, by Barbara Albright. So, if you can put two and two together....that means that one copy is the giveaway prize!

This book is great. Not only does it have some cute patterns, but it talks about all different types of natural fibers, how to use them, and the differences between them all. I'm so excited to send a copy to a new home!

fun giveaway!

well, as i mentioned earlier, i started a facebook fan page. yesterday, i decided to try something fun to get a little more exposure! i'm going to give away a pair of my handwarmers! these are super warm, comfy, and very practical for those who need use of their fingers but have cold hands (read: me.). i use mine all the time - throughout the day at work as well as while knitting, or just sitting around the house.
