grumpy face

I've been in a bit of a rut lately. Life just seems to be throwing really ugly stuff at us right now, and it's all been pretty hard to take. Well, today was the straw that broke the camel's back. I won't go into detail, but I will say this: when did the mission of most people/companies become screwing people over? It drives me crazy that most places have these hidden loopholes that get to take away from the people who are working the hardest and getting paid the least, or those who are paying for a service.

I digress....

I did, however, make a yummy peach cobbler, which is bound to make me feel better, right?

And sweet Jake just ran to the store to pick up some vanilla ice cream. Because what's peach cobbler without vanilla ice cream, right?

I have finished up another pattern - here's a little sneak peak! The pattern should be written up and ready to go hopefully tomorrow.

  1. peach cobbler yum! I love the cobbler effect in where you can take any fruit, make a crumble top and add ice cream for pure summer deliciousness.
Sorry to hear about the ugly rut-ness of stuff. There always does seem to be a loophole designed specifically to screw over the person who can least afford it.
    pretty scarf though.
