I've written about my grandparents before. How loving, caring, and special they are. Especially my Grandmommy. Faye Lee Pittman Kelley. Such a wonderful woman. So near and dear to my heart.
This past Good Friday, April 6, my sweet Grandmommy left this world. I originally wanted to write all about her life, and what an incredible woman she was (and will be, forever, in my heart), but for now I just want to say that she will be missed by everyone that knew her. I am totally devastated and heartbroken. I think about her every day and am trying to focus on the amazing memories I have with her and how fortunate I was, not only to know her, but to have her as my Grandmother.
I hope to be more like her. And I strive for that daily.

Oh, I'm so sorry. It's so good that you have treasured memories of her. Those two pictures you posted of the two of you together tell such a big story. My thoughts are with you as you grieve.
