I haven't totally given up on my goal of knitting 12 sweaters this year. This is my sixth completed sweater for the year, and I actually have 3 more on the needles, two of which are almost finished. So I'm not too far off - it's still within reach!

Now, onto my sixth sweater of the year. As soon as I saw this pattern, I knew I needed to knit this sweater. It's awesome. There's so much to love about it.

And even though I do have a few issues with my finished sweater, I really love it. Every time I've worn it in the last week, I've gotten lots of compliments. It's not surprising, really. The pattern is great - unique but not too weird. And the yarn color? Oh man... I'm crazy about it.

My main problem with my sweater is the collar - it's a big saggy. I read that quite a few people had trouble with this, so I tried using a smaller needle for the next than the pattern suggested. Apparently it didn't do the trick. That's ok, I suppose, but I really love the way the collar looks in the pattern photos.

So even though it's a bit baggy, I still love it. It's the perfect addition to my fall wardrobe!

  2. Very nice! I didn't even notice the collar droop until I read this so I don't think it's really as bad as you imagine :-)

  5. it's beautiful!! I love the colour, too. I know what you mean about the neckline, but I agree with the previous comment that you really don't notice it.

Thank you! I'm glad the collar's not noticeable to others. Especially to those who aren't knitters!
