Logan

I recently bought some wool roving yarn, and had visions of a warm, chunky infinity cowl for this upcoming winter. I wanted something with texture, and something that was long enough to wrap around my neck twice, and wide enough to be cozy and warm.

From these desires, Logan was born. This simple pattern (consisting of just knits and purls - nothing fancy!), was inspired by a few things, one being natural reflections. The textured shapes remind me so much of mountains reflected in a lake, while also giving off a little bit of a Native American design. It's been a while since I sat down and knitted something start to finish in a day, but this was so quick, it seemed like it was knitting itself.

Due to the nature of the design, the cowl is totally reversible, with both sides being (in my opinion) equally as attractive.

So grab a couple of skeins of bulky yarn, some big needles, Logan (for free, of course!), and in just a matter of hours you'll have a cozy, squishy, infinity cowl to keep you warm.
