Giving in and loving it

I've done it. I've given in and joined Pinterest. When I first heard about it, I thought to myself "how stupid. you just click on pictures that you like and it saves them?", when in reality, it is so so much more than that. I used to get caught up in design blogs and recipe blogs and spend hours and hours going through them, bookmarking pages of things I wanted to try or things I wanted my future home to look like, and then I realized that was a huge waste of time, so I stopped. But with Pinterest, all the hard work is done. See a photo of something you want to make? Click on it, and it will take you to the original source - most of the time with directions included. Here are just a few things that have caught my eye that I plan on doing sometime in the future:

It's also a great source for color boards, which are always nice to have when planning any project

Seriously, check it out. I'm really happy that I did. And if you do, look me up. I love seeing other people's inspirations!

  2. I joined pretty recently too and it's also replaced my zillion bookmarks.  I click on it before anything else.   I could spend waaay to much time on it if I let myself.  Anyway, I followed you.

Definitely the down side - could be a major time waster!! I only allow myself 15 minutes at a time, otherwise I could spend all day on there!
